A Whole New Story for Debut Children's Illustrators

The Carmelite Prize 2016

The Hachette Children’s Group is excited to announce the launch of a new competition to encourage and inspire the next generation of illustrators for children’s books. Further education students of illustration and design in the UK are invited to illustrate a brand new and original picture book text by celebrated author-illustrator, Cressida Cowell. The Story of Tantrum O’Furrily, the tale of an adventurous young cat, has been written especially for the inaugural Carmelite Prize.
