Jeanne Willis is an award-winning, hugely-respected, hugely funny, internationally bestselling author, whose titles include I Hate School; The Monster Bed and Susan Laughs. Jeanne lives in London.

Paul Howard's charming illustrations have won him acclaim across the world. His career in illustration began when he was asked by a friend to do some drawings for a book. Paul went on to illustrate another book...and another...and another. Paul's awards include 'Best Book To Read Aloud' Blue Peter Award for The Bravest Ever Bear by Allan Ahlberg. He has also won a Primary English Award for Kathy Henderson's Year In The City. Paul lives in Belfast with his wife and three children.
