This is an engaging and beautifully written story...It is full of insightful facts about the Exmoor pony society and information about the Exmoor breed itself. There are some lovely illustrations at the beginning of each chapter too. This is a highly recommended read, especially for any horse lovers out there. I am so pleased that it is the first in the trilogy!

Eveleigh is not just a good writer, she's got her finger on the pulse of the young rider. She understands their preoccupations and their worries - and how they develop when they're away from their equine friends...
