Biographical Notes

Brian Keaney is a former teacher who now writes full time. His other books include Bitter Fruit and Jacob's Ladder, which have been shortlisted for the South Lanarkshire Children's Book Award. His young adult fantasy trilogy, The Promises of Dr Sigmundus, received rave reviews, and has many fans, including Philip Pullman. This is his second Magical Detectives novel.
