Rachel Ignotofsky

Rachel Ignotofsky is a New York Times bestselling author and illustrator who is proud to share stories of amazing women with the world. She grew up in New Jersey, USA on a healthy diet of cartoons and dessert before graduating with honours from the Tyler School of Art's graphic design programme in 2011. Now Rachel lives in beautiful Missouri, USA, where she spends all day drawing and learning as much as she can. She has a passion for taking dense information and making it fun and accessible, and is dedicated to creating educational works of art.
Mark Illis

Mark Illis has written extensively for TV - including EastEnders, The Bill and Emmerdale. He also wrote the award-winning screenplay for Before Dawn. He has had three adult novels published by Bloomsbury, and more recently two by Salt. The Impossible won a Northern Writers Award in 2015. He lives in West Yorkshire with his wife and two children.
Virginia Ironside

Virginia Ironside is best known as one of Britain's leading agony aunts. She started on WOMAN magazine before moving to THE SUNDAY MIRROR and TODAY newspapers. She now writes a weekly column for THE INDEPENDENT. She also appears regularly on radio and television on such programmes as Radio 4's 'Woman's Hour'. Her many books include self-help titles on subjects such as bereavement, as well as the children's spooky adventure series BURLAP HALL.
Jude Isabella

Jude Isabella has written for The Walrus, New Scientist, the Loh Down on Science, Canadian Geographic, Medical Post, WILD Magazine, Reader's Digest, Archaeology Magazine, BC Magazine, BBC Wildlife Magazine, Spirituality and Health Magazine, and The Tyee, focussing on science, health, and the environment. She also spent more than a decade as the managing editor of YES Mag, the Science magazine for Adventurous Minds.She also writes science books for kids. Her book Fantastic Feats and Failures won the American Institute of Physics award for writing in the children's category. They gave her an engraved Windsor chair, the best award ever.
