Ann Halam is the penname of Gwyneth Jones, who also writes science fiction and fantasy for adults. She was born and raised in Manchester, and after graduating from Sussex University spent some years travelling throughout South East Asia. She now lives in Brighton with her husband and son, but spends as much time as she can heading off on adventurous travels.
Tom Heard

Tom Heard is an illustrator based in Devon, UK. After failing miserably with his ambition of playing professional football, (he didn't even make the school team!) Tom decided to pursue his passion of picture making. Since graduating from Plymouth University in 2012 he has worked on a variety of fiction and educational projects. Tom can often be found plugged into his computer, working away on his next project or reading a good book.
Judith Heneghan

Judith Heneghan writes fiction and non-fiction for children. She runs the MA Writing for Children at the University of Winchester. Judith has four teenage children, a labrador, a snake and a gecko.

Suzie is passionate about teaching children photography, and is the founder of Shutterbug Kids, which runs workshops for kids. With 20 years' experience as an award-winning international photojournalist, Suzie has worked for Press Association, Reuters and The Times. She has three children.
