Since graduating from the University of Central Lancashire, Kate Pankhurst has worked as an illustrator. She works regularly in primary and secondary schools running sessions linked to illustration and writing and as part of Creatives, a company specialising in high quality arts experiences for children and young people. Kate has previously illustrated both picture books and fiction for a variety of publishers. Kate was the recipient of the MACMILLAN PRIZE FOR PICTURE BOOK ILLUSTRATION in 2002. Jewell Parker Rhodes
Jewell Parker Rhodes grew up in Pennsylvania. She is an author of adult and children's books, a Coretta Scott King Honour award-winner, and a professor of creative writing at Arizona State University. She currently lives in San Jose.

Mark Perry of BBC's Dead Ringers fame (as the voice of Martin Jarvis and Graham Norton) is a political and sports impressionist in other BBC radio series and in The Archers. On TV he has appeared in Mr Charity and in various stage productions around Britain.
Kate Petty was a widely-published author of both fiction and non fiction titles. Before her death in 2007 she had worked in publishing for many years, and was most recently the children's book publisher for the Eden Project.
Annabel graduated from Oxford University with a degree in English Literature and an ambition to be a children's author. She had a variety of jobs before deciding to travel the world and focus on writing. Annabel now lives in Yorkshire with her husband and two young sons.Her first book, MY SISTER LIVES ON THE MANTELPIECE, won the Branford Boase and a Betty Trask Award in 2012 and KETCHUP CLOUDS won the 2014 Waterstones Children's Prize. Daniel is the son of animator Oliver Postgate. He worked as a freelance cartoonist before becoming a children's book writer and illustrator. He has since been involved in more than fifty books. His book 'Smelly Bill' won the Nottingham and Norfolk children's book awards and was one of the top ten children's books of the year in Time magazine. He lives in Whitstable.Daniel Postgate is the cartoonist for the Daily Express. He has illustrated a number of children¿s books, including The Philosophy Files and The Outer Limits.
Michael Praed played Jesus in Godspell, Frederick in the West End production of The Pirates of Penzance, starred a Broadway remake of Ziegfeld's Three Musketeers and as Alex in Trevor Nunn's production of Aspects of Love, amongst many other stage and musical theatre shows His television work includes a dashing Robin in Robin of Sherwood, Jake Lovell in The Riders and Prince Michael in Dynasty.
