Alex Paterson

Alex was a soldier and a jungle leader before concentrating on his illustration career: following in the footsteps of his sister and cousin who are also both children's illustrators. He has had eleven books published so far. Alex lives in a little village in Warwickshire with his wife Sarah.
Michelle Paver

Born in Malawi to a Belgian mother and a father who ran the tiny 'NYASALAND TIMES', Michelle Paver moved to the UK when she was three. She was brought up in Wimbledon and, following a Biochemistry Degree from Oxford, she became a partner in a big City law firm. She gave up the City to follow her long-held dream of becoming a writer. Annabel Pitcher

Annabel graduated from Oxford University with a degree in English Literature and an ambition to be a children's author. She had a variety of jobs before deciding to travel the world and focus on writing. Annabel now lives in Yorkshire with her husband and two young sons.Her first book, MY SISTER LIVES ON THE MANTELPIECE, won the Branford Boase and a Betty Trask Award in 2012 and KETCHUP CLOUDS won the 2014 Waterstones Children's Prize. Daniel Postgate

Daniel is the son of animator Oliver Postgate. He worked as a freelance cartoonist before becoming a children's book writer and illustrator. He has since been involved in more than fifty books. His book 'Smelly Bill' won the Nottingham and Norfolk children's book awards and was one of the top ten children's books of the year in Time magazine. He lives in Whitstable.Daniel Postgate is the cartoonist for the Daily Express. He has illustrated a number of children¿s books, including The Philosophy Files and The Outer Limits.
Michael Praed

Michael Praed played Jesus in Godspell, Frederick in the West End production of The Pirates of Penzance, starred a Broadway remake of Ziegfeld's Three Musketeers and as Alex in Trevor Nunn's production of Aspects of Love, amongst many other stage and musical theatre shows His television work includes a dashing Robin in Robin of Sherwood, Jake Lovell in The Riders and Prince Michael in Dynasty.
